Beacon Hill Community School (2011)

Mission

"Providing a Guiding Light For Our Community's Career and Educational Needs."

About

Beacon Hill Community School  is a conversion community school originally established to fill an educational gap resulting from the phasing out of OWA/OWE and vocational training programs in the Southeast Local School District (Wayne County) and leaving a segment of the student population without educational options.

The Beacon Hill Community School serves students in grades 7-12.  Students attending Beacon Hill experience traditional classroom instruction aligned with a standards-based approach that is enhanced with blended learning opportunities.

A committed and compassionate staff, provide students with an educational option that is designed to fit their individual needs in preparing them as 21st Century graduates.

In 2014 Beacon Hill Community School was recognized by the Ohio Alliance for Public Charter Schools (OAPCS) for their academic achievement
