The Tri-County High School Play Festival is open to high school theatre programs in Tri-County ESC school districts in Ashland, Wayne, and Holmes counties. The purpose of the high school play festival is to provide high school theatre students with the opportunity to display their talents and to receive a rating and high quality feedback by qualified adjudicators. In addition to an overall rating, there will be All-County Cast Awards, All-County Crew Award, and a Director’s Award.

The 2026 High School Play Festival took place on Tuesday, February 3 at Chippewa Jr/Sr High School. The festival adjudicators were Stefanie Fatzinger, Jenny Karger Smith, and Linda Karger.
