Festival of Choirs

Festival of Choirs is an annual high school choral festival open to high school choirs in Wayne County public school districts. This concert features individual high school choir performances along with a mass choir performance under the direction of a guest conductor. Festival of Choirs celebrates and showcases the importance of choral music education and the dedication of high school choir directors and students. This event also provides the opportunity for high school choral students in Wayne County to collaborate in one large ensemble and to work with a guest choral conductor.

The 2026 Festival of Choirs was hosted at Northwestern High School and under the direction of Dr. Greg Ramsdell from Heidelburg University. 9 Wayne County high schools participated and gave individual choir performances during the festival.
