Tri-County Fine Arts College and Career Fair
The Tri-County Fine Arts College and Career Fair is an annual event open to high school fine arts students in Ashland, Wayne, and Holmes county school districts. High school students have the opportunity to learn about fine arts degrees and programs from colleges from all of the state of Ohio and connect with local businesses about careers in the fine arts. Additionally, high school students have the opportunity to sign up for mock college portfolio reviews or mock college vocal/instrumental auditions.

Mock College Vocal Auditions
Practice the college audition process with a college voice professor and receive valuable feedback!

What should I prepare?
- Come prepared with 2 contrasting vocal solos (one in English and one foreign language if possible)
- Try to memorize both songs if possible!
- Use the OMEA Solo and Ensemble list as a guide for selecting your pieces
- Please bring 2 sets of copies of your music
- An accompanist will be provided
- Location: Ashland High School Choir Room
Mock College Instrumental Auditions

What should I prepare?
- Winds/Strings:
- Come prepared with 2 contrasting solos or etudes if possible
- Major scales, 1 octave
- Please bring 2 sets of copies of your music
- Percussion:
- Come prepared with a snare drum solo, timpani solo, and/or mallet solo
- Please bring 2 sets of copies of your music
- Location: Ashland High School Band Room

What should I prepare?
- Assemble a portfolio of 4-8 pieces of your best work that reflect your interests and abilities (the more you can include closer to 8 the better)
- If possible, bring examples of artwork drawn from life or observation
- Digital portfolios are also acceptable – please bring an iPad or laptop with you in order to view your portfolio
- Come prepared to answer questions about the pieces in your portfolio
- Location: Ashland High School Little Theatre
