Bus drivers from all Wayne County school districts participated in a full day of training in Creston on Monday, August 11.  180 drivers were provided strategies and hands-on practice on topics ranging from crisis intervention, situational awareness, reacting to threats and active shooter response. Several School Resource Officers also participated.  The School Transportation Active-Threat Response Training (S.T.A.R.T.) was facilitated by Levine Security Solutions from Chagrin Falls, Ohio and was organized by the Tri-County Educational Service Center.  Thank you Norwayne administration and transportation staff for hosting!
