Rotating Elementary Art Exhibit
During February come in and browse the artwork of students from Mapleton Elementary (K-5) and Mapleton Middle School (6) (Mapleton Local). These art exhibits will be displayed throughout the Tri-County Educational Service Center the entire month of February. Feel free to come and take a look at the artwork of our very talented students.
Each elementary school in Ashland, Holmes and Wayne Counties is invited to exhibit children's artwork at the Tri-County ESC office. The exhibit is designed to:
- bring more K-6 children's artwork into the community;
- demonstrate the artistic development of K-6 students and the quality of art instruction taking place; and
- to create an opportunity for elementary visual art teachers to work together to build a sense of unity, community and cooperation.
Each month one student's artwork is selected as "Best of Show". This artwork is then professionally matted, framed and hung (in rotation) in the following locations: Wayne County Juvenile Court, Child Support Enforcement Agency, Cleveland Clinic - Wooster Pediatric Offices and Tri-County ESC offices.
Tri-County ESC respectfully thanks student artists for donating the artwork to the collection of student work.
