Speech/Language Therapy Services

Speech and language therapy services are provided to eligible students in preschool through 12th grade.

Services provided by speech/language pathologists include speech, language, and hearing screenings; standardized testing of suspected delays in speech/language/hearing; progress monitoring; development of individual goals and objectives and the provision of direct and/or consultative therapy services in individual or group settings.

Students receive services for disorders of articulation, receptive and/or expressive language, fluency, voice and hearing impairment. The services can be provided in a variety of settings including the speech therapy room, regular classroom, or in a combination of settings. Speech therapists also provide consultative services to the students who have communication disorders and preventative services within the school/classroom settings.

For more information, please call your child’s school and ask for information about speech/language therapy.
