Administrative Search
Tri-County Educational Service Center provides assistance to boards of education in searches to fill administrative positions. The administrative search is composed of four steps: announcement of the vacancy; compilation of applications; reference checks; and assistance in authoring interview guidelines and questions.
Administrative vacancies are announced via email and U.S. mailings to all administrators in Ohio. In addition, vacancies are published on Ohio educational Websites such as Ohio School Boards Association and Buckeye Association of School Administrators. National venues are also utilized at the request of the board of education.
Applications, resumes, letters of interest, references and credential information is compiled in notebook form and presented to the board of education for review. The ESC superintendent, at the request of the board, can schedule interviews and facilitate any meetings of designated focus groups invited to participate in the process.
