Virtual Learning Academy

The Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) is an online educational program designed to meet the specific needs of students in grades 2-12.
 

VLA PROGRAM FEATURES

The VLA can provide credits in all content areas (Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Physical Education).

There are also a wide range of electives and supplemental courses available. (Health, Technology, Foreign Language, Enrichment, Honors, AP, Arts, Music, Test Prep, and ESL to name a few).

Student Support:
  * Online support and guidance from Highly Qualified Teachers
  * Face-to-face contact with VLA staff
  * Social and wrap-around services
  * Coordinated services with local school districts

The VLA has expanded the educational opportunities for students by adding Summer School courses.  To find out more about the Summer School opportunities, click on the link below.

What is the Cost?
There are many pricing options available allowing for single course or multiple course programs.  Contact us for more details. 

FAQs

Do I have to withdraw from my present school district?
No, students remain enrolled in their resident districts

What happens to my credits when I complete a course?
Credits are transferred to the resident district

Is the VLA a charter school?
No, the VLA is an educational service designed to assist local school districts and their respective students’ needs.

When can I work on my VLA courses?
VLA courses can be accessed 24 hrs/seven days a week from any location.  The only requirement is Internet access.
