These are considered as unofficial vacancies (not actual openings) which we may, or may not, be able to discuss.  A current employee may have mentioned their anticipated resignation (re: retirement or other).  Possible program changes can also be a factor.

For whatever the reason, it is important for us to be prepared with highly qualified candidates when it's time to initiate the screening and selection process.
